SCHOOL RULES
- It is mandatory for the students to carry their School Identity Card and Almanac every day including
the day of PTM.
- Students must reach the school, as per the school reporting time. A student reporting late regularly,
will be sent back home
- If a student is late to school for any genuine reason, he/she must be accompanied by parent and report
at school reception or carry an application, duly signed by the parents, stating the reason for late
arrival.
- All the students must wear proper, clean and ironed school uniform. They must also keep their nails
short, hair well-trimmed and the shoes polished. No fancy hair style is allowed in school.
- The students must carry their own tiffin, water bottle and other materials required, bearing the name
of the student. No sharing is allowed.
- Students are strictly not allowed to carry a Mobile Phone, Earphones, Music Player or any other
electronic device. If any such article is found with any student, it will be confiscated and will not be
returned.
- Carrying any costly article like gold ornaments, expensive pens, watches etc. is prohibited. The
school will not be responsible for the loss of any such article.
- Only the students of classes Nursery to V are permitted to wear informal dress on their birthdays.
- Students must maintain discipline and follow all school rules / instructions of the teachers to avoid
any disciplinary action. Students must also take care of school property. Appropriate fine will be
charged if a student is found damaging the same. Such a student will also be debarred from School
Activities / Competitions.
- The school is a Tobacco Free Zone. Use / Possession of any Tobacco Product inside / near school
premises is strictly prohibited.
- The Principal has the authority to suspend or ask for the withdrawal of any student without having to
state the reason, provided she is satisfied that such a step is necessary in the interest of the school.
ATTENDANCE
- It is mandatory for all the students to complete at least 75 % attendance during the academic
session to be eligible to appear for the Annual Examination.
- Any absence from school must be informed through a written leave application duly signed by the
parents.
- Sick leave application for more than 3 days must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate issued by
Govt./Registered Medical Practitioner
- It is compulsory for all the students to appear in Class Assessment, Periodic Assessment and the
Half-Yearly Examination. In case a student remains absent during any of these, he/she will not be
permitted to sit for the Annual Examination.
- No Assessment / Examination will be re-conducted in case a student misses the same.
GUIDELINES FOR CLASS XII STUDENTS
- Students are required to submit three latest Passport Size Colour Photographs in School Uniform and
deposit board examination fee as per the CBSE schedule and guidelines.
- According to CBSE norms, any student who has not completed 75% attendance during the academic session
will not be eligible to appear for Board Examination.
- Attendance in Periodic Assessment / Pre-Board Examination is compulsory.
- Students must prepare and submit Practical Files and Projects in time, as per the instructions of the
teachers.
COLLECTION OF ADMIT CARD
- It is the duty of the students to clear all school dues / return library books, badges, any other
material issued by school and also get the Clearance Slip signed by all the concerned (Fee Office,
Library, Class Teacher), before collecting the Admit Card for Board Examination.
- It is mandatory for the students and parents to sign the Admit Card, as soon as it is issued by the
school.
- Students must follow the same signature pattern while signing the Admit Card / any other CBSE
documents.
- Students must read carefully and adhere to the instructions on the Admit Card.
- Students are advised to keep a photocopy of their Admit Card with their parents.
- The school will not be responsible, if the Admit Card is lost / damaged by any student.
INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING EXAMINATION CENTRE
- Students have to make their own arrangements to reach the examination centre.
- Students must ensure that they reach the examination centre in time to avoid any inconvenience.
- Students must be in proper school uniform and carry the Original Admit Card / required stationery.
- Carrying any item barred by CBSE (Refer CBSE guidelines / Instructions on Admit Card) is strictly
prohibited at the examination centre. The school will not be responsible if any such article is
confiscated at the examination centre.
COLLECTION OF MARK SHEET AND CERTIFICATE
- • Students must collect their Marksheet / Certificate strictly as per the schedule intimated by the
school. A fine will be charged thereafter.

A WORD TO PARENTS

Adherence to School Rules / Instructions
-
Parents must abide by all school rules and adhere to the instructions,
as mentioned in the School Almanac or issued during the academic session.
They must also counsel their wards to do the same.

Filling Important Details in Almanac
-
In the interest of the student, the ‘Personal Information’ (Page No.1),
‘Mode of Dispersal’ (Page No.2) & ‘Health Record’ (Page No.3) pages
in the School Almanac must be filled carefully by the parents and
the required photographs must be pasted as soon as the Almanac is
issued to the student.

Communication with the Teachers / School
-
The Almanac must be checked regularly (including the Yellow and Pink Pages).
Any remark given by the teachers must be signed on the same day.

Any communication sent through Almanac / School App / Class Group
must be read carefully. Response, if required, must be given immediately.

Almanac should also be used to communicate with the teachers
(Page No. 35 & 36). Parents, if sending any message through Almanac,
must instruct the child to show it to the concerned teacher.

Parent-Teacher Meeting
-
As the Parent-Teacher Meetings are crucial for discussion regarding
the academic and overall progress of the students, it is compulsory
for the parents to attend the same.

However, in case of unavoidable circumstance, if the child is being
accompanied by the guardian to attend the PTM, parents must send
a duly signed Authority Letter.

Report Card will not be given to any person except the Parents /
Authorized Guardians.

Parents are not allowed to enter the classroom or talk to the teachers
during school hours on any non-PTM day. However, they can meet the
teachers with a prior appointment, taken from the school reception,
only if permitted by the Principal.

No Provision of Short Leave
-
Parents must not send the child to school in case he / she is unwell
or they have any pre-planned assignment / medical appointment.
Once the student has reached the school no request for early going
will be entertained.

Dispersal of Students
-
Parents / Authorized guardians who come to drop / pick the child
must wait outside the school gate.
-
For the safety purpose, no child will be handed over to any person
except the parents / authorized guardians (as mentioned in the Almanac).
-
However, in case of any emergency, if the parents send a person
other than the authorized guardian to pick their ward from the school,
they must submit a duly signed written application and also share
his / her photograph on school Whatsapp number.

Updation in School Records
-
Any change in residential address, contact number or any other
details related to the student, must be informed in the school office
in written immediately.

In case the child has any medical issue and is under any kind of
special medical treatment, the same must be updated in school office,
in written, along with the supporting documents, in the beginning of
the academic session or immediately as and when occurs.

Use of Social Media
-
Parents must counsel their wards to use Social Media sensibly.
-
No student / parent will upload any school related matter on any
social media platform.
-
The School will not be responsible for any post on social media
by any student / parent / outsider.
-
Tobacco Free Zone
-
The school is a Tobacco Free Zone. Use / Possession of any Tobacco
Product inside / near school premises is strictly prohibited.

Issuing / Attestation of documents / certificates
-
Parents must give a written application for the issuing /
attestation of any document / certificate / receipt.
-
The procedure of attestation / issuing of following documents
will take a minimum of two days –
- Tuition Fee Certificate
- Certificate for fee reimbursement.
- Photocopy of Report Card / Mark Sheet
- Bus pass
- Transfer Certificate etc. (Refer Page No.....)
